AMD Radeon HD 6800 series 6870 and 6850 Overview and Benchmarks Video Clips.
AMD has its much-anticipated Radeon HD 6800 launched by graphicss, starting with the Radeon HD 6850 and Radeon HD 6870 Both cards are introduced as a mid-range cards in direct competition with the NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB and 768MB. The two new GPUs fill the fuzzy midrange ATI gaps that are not as strong with its 5000-series and has some huge improvements in areas such as tessellation, image quality enhancements, the new multimedia features HDMI 1.4, Blu- Ray 3DEyefinity improvement. All this comes to $ 240 and $ 180 for the 6870 and 6850 respectively. ATI goes head to head with NVIDIA graphics card for the head sweet spot.
